Set up in 2011 by cake designer Keri Hopkins, The Cakeri is based in Warwickshire and provides beautiful individually designed wedding cakes and celebration cakes for any occasion.
More About the Cakeri
Stemming from a childhood love of baking, Keri continued to make cakes for family and friends. One day she was asked if she could make a wedding cake. From that moment on, she devoted her time to learning different sugar art techniques and developing delicious cake recipes.
As a self confessed foodie, Keri will always say the most important part of a cake is the taste. While all her work is beautiful too, she wants you to be blown away by eating your cake as well! Every cake is baked fresh to order with quality ingredients, which are locally sourced and in season where possible. Real butter, fresh cream, home made jams, curds and ganaches along with our tried and tested cake recipes all work together to make a cake from The Cakeri extra special.
There are many amazingly talented cake companies all over the country but we hope there is something about the Cakeri that makes our cakes different. Keri genuinely feels privileged to be invited to play a part in your celebrations. It is never just a cake, but always a symbol of a milestone, a marriage, an achievement or a new baby. She aims to offer a personalised design service that really takes into account your ideas and dreams for your cake. Take a look at some of the comments from recent clients at the bottom of the page to find out more about the Cakeri.
‘The Cakeri’, not to be confused with The Cakery in Leamington Spa, was named by merging ‘cake’ and ‘keri’. Keri lives with her young family in beautiful rural countryside just outside Warwick. Along with creating wedding and celebration cakes, she offers private tuition and runs cake courses from her home. Keri is a member of the British Sugar Craft Guild and an exhibitor at both The National Wedding Show and the Midlands Vintage Chic Wedding Fairs. The Cakeri was also awarded a 5 star food hygiene rating by Warwick District Council. If you would like to find out more about the Keri then Get in touch for more details.
The Cakeri is also on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest where there is a large photo gallery of all our work.
